Madeira’s fortified wines were the most popular wines in the USAuntil Prohibition, and were the choice for many early American celebrations. Very few dry wines fromthe Island of Madeira have been imported into the USA since before the times of our Founding Fathers, until now.

Very few dry wines from the Island of Madeira have been imported into the US and who better to expand the category than us. Arnsburger (a crossing of two riesling clones) and Verdelho in stainlees steel from Madeira's volcanic soil. Citrus, tropical fruit, sea breeze.

Harvest & Vintage Notes
This blend is predominantly Verdelho with a little bit of Arnsburger. Arnsbuger is named after Arnsburg Abbey, a ruin of a Cistercian abbey in Wetterau, as a homage to the importance of Cistercians in the history of German wine. Fermented in aged in both stainless steel and older french oak. Pear, citrus fruit, cream.
